#3. i enjoy being social and meeting new people. I seem to have acquired a lot of great friends as a result. I also have a thing for crazy people. I keep them closest to me.

crazy in that mad to live kinda way. wanna try new things. see new places. expand your horizons, kinda way. i packed my bag for a lovers retreat in riverdale. the parents were away, the kids wanted to play.

my partner in travel, we've done brooklyn, bx, atlanta. she just returned from china. so, in the spirit of exploration in '09, amaris and i decided to hop in little baby salamander and just go.

we discovered the beauty of this place is that one second you're in New York and then you turn the corner and you're in Paris. or London. or Italy. the shopping. the architecture. the food. all a testament to the diversity of cultures and influences that have lent themselves to make this city one of the best in the world.

however, though we love the ability to hop on the West Side Highway to Europe or the F train to China, we still yearn for the real thing:
